Being a huge history fan, military history in particular, I decided to go the historic route for the 2nd Unit (North American) if OSHC. So I used the arrowhead shape of the famous Devils Brigade to incorporate what will be both Canadian and American members.
As per Wikipedia for those who may not know:
Properly designated as the 1st Special Service Force, The Devil's Brigade (also called The Black Devil's and The Black Devils Brigade) was a joint World War II American-Canadian commando unit organized in 1942 and trained at Fort William Henry Harrison near Helena, Montana in the United States. The brigade fought in the Aleutian Islands, Italy, and southern France before being disbanded in December, 1944. Many modern American and Canadian Special Forces units trace their heritage to this unit.
For the potential Mexican members of the OSHC 2nd Unit…. Sorry!!!
Now, as you can see example in my own Avator, the OSHC logo is on bagde along with the 2nd Unit number above it. Simple, yet I feel effective.
